Happy happy Wednesday everyone!
This week I want to celebrate the work of +Edward Means in his poetry he utilises imagery, captures moments and creates vivid short pieces of writing that are striking and perfectly fitting to the photographs that he shares along side. Well done Edward, it is a pleasure to read your work and a pleasure to have you within our community

+linda bradley todd Linda is a beautifully talented lady, her imagery is vivid, striking and always adds an extra layer of depth to her poetry. Linda is a superb member and moderator, always sharing encouraging words with her peers, it is a pleasure to have Linda within our team and community.

Shout out time! This is to allow us to pause and pay respect to those poets taking poetry outside of the box, driving creativity into new arenas, and equally, those poets that stand proud within the poetic roots that have created the very foundations we write from today.

This is a great category for exploring writing exercises such as free writing/stream of conscience writing, as well as using poetic techniques within your narrative prose. Our shout-out this week goes to +Wendy - Empathic Tigress who wrote an amazing piece of fantasy fiction that is so very worth a read!

Thank you to +michael\holmes\hodgin * +Paul Stump and +Michael Dodd for sharing with us some classical poetry/highlighting legendary poets. For many this category offers a chance to widen their knowledge base and explore new voices and styles, thank you kindly guys for your shares!

Criteria for Poet of the Week Selection:
1. The poet has written a great and original poem.
2. The poet spends some time reading and commenting to encourage and support other members.
3. Mastery of the the language in which the poet writes is also important, although we should make some allowances in terms of spelling/grammar for people using English as a second language.
