Bon Voyage
Goodbye, friend, so, you have gone,
Fizzling out like the morning fog.
Are the travellers like you given
Some map of that unchartered land?
Or, did someone come as a guide
To take you to your destination there?
Oh, all such questions are now futile
Like the rapidly vanishing vapours,
Blurring momentarily the invisible wall
That now stands between you and me.
You have nothing to say, nor will I hear you.
After a door has been permanently closed
What is the point of waiting before it?

Special mentions go to:

+Kaleidoscope
+Alf Glocker

Heartspoken: Poems & Musings Kindle Edition by +Amit Singh

"Loneliness, heartbreak or loss can leave us feeling hopeless at times. Yet, such intense emotions often drive us to look beyond our immediate worldly existence, to question the meaning of life itself. In doing so, we grow spiritually stronger. The earlier poems in this book are cathartic, but then the tone shifts to higher thoughts on life and societal issues as well as musings on the divine nature of our existence. Just when you think life has left you broken, and you're falling apart, deep wisdom surfaces in trying times, truths spoken from the heart."
