A poem to the love that pulls in the variables of love. Result is sweet when the journey is bitter. A moment like this feeds a man a happy 8 hours sleep.

A Journey With Soul-keeper

How to tell this serene time lapse
would not stay forever in my arms

The way you walk on my bare chest
the tremors frees the jostling raven in me

The slow heartbeat and my aching soul
cries and dies to flow in your crimson red lips

Never to know the sigh that I martyr into a warp
when you swallow my tears in your smile

In a castle made of glass is where I am trapped
to find my day and night curl around your reflection

A voyage with my dream sailed to find the rain
came back empty when you stole away my peace

Yes, today I am not my own and not anybody else's
and rebirth every midnight when you hug me on the bed

Now I teach the stars to fondle with mysteries of the night
and you happened to me when a touch was made not by any hand

TANKA HARAKO Ⅲ: 短歌 原狐 Ⅲ Kindle Edition by +Rika Inami 稲美 里佳

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071VH2LR6/

Amazon Japan: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B071VH2LR6

This is the third Tanka poetry collection of Rika Inami

Rika originally composed Tanka in Japanese and translated them into English.
You can read this book in a bilingual manner, Japanese & English.

Rika lives in Akita Prefecture, Japan, which is rich in nature, so she has mainly written Tanka in praise of nature. Throughout her daily life she is inspired by beautiful mountains, flowers and rivers. She experiences the mysteries of nature. Her existence itself is reflected in her description of nature.

While compiling this book, she felt that the publication would fall in the season of the cherry blossoms.

It inspired her to include the works of or relating to cherry blossoms. Thus, among fifty-one tanka poetries, readers will find more than ten works of cherry blossoms.

Furthermore, as a WEB Tanka poetess, Rika composed Tanka lines from her Internet life such as Emails. They have romantic moods.

It is just expressed in this book that we have to respect and share with nature even in this science-technology age.

It is sure that readers who love Tanka poetry since the time of “Manyoshu 万葉集 ” and respect traditions in the scientific times will empathize with this book.
