Come home #poetsprompt

Two chairs became one
It used to be me and you -
It used to be us here -
Doing nothing but everything -
Everything that means the world
To us.

Time passed so quickly, that
We craved for more time
We would laugh
We would cry
We would share secrets
We would kiss...

Everything around us taught us
To love...

The immovable house taught us to stand firm
The beautiful flowers taught us
to dance in the midst of storms
The old fountain, as old as our love,
Taught us to give relentlessly
The cultured stone taught us to be resilient
The verdant grass taught us to be hopeful

You've only been gone a day and
Your heart is beating hard in mine
This much!
O' Queen of mine, can your King
Wait for the three days?

Come home my Queen, come home.
