Happy Wednesday!
Another new week is upon us a new week to celebrate! This week I want to highlight the amazing +Loretta Leslie. Leslie is easily one of my favorite poets, her eye for details is immense, her creative essence is out of this world and her work is always so very diverse and fresh...
Iridescent hues of pain
glowing, swirling
cycle through my brain
nerve ends shrieking
who is screaming?
is it me?
everything bleeding
can't get free
ambulance wailing
blue red strobing
someone shouting
god I'm choking
gentle hands probing
losing consciousness
mind floating
blackness
Loretta Leslie (c) February 2018
