This weeks poet of the week goes to the amazingly talented Jackie, +J.M. L such a wonderfully diverse poet, her recent piece titled Trust completely won me over, so heartfelt and emotive. Thank you Jackie, for your delightful poetry and your very presence within the community.

It is a beautiful thing
To know you have my back and I have yours
That I don't have ever have to look behind and feel
A stab in the back from you
So many years and so much time
Has come to pass
With so few faults
I can't really give you sass
We rely on each other
As tried and true brothers
The shirt of my back I would give
A home for you to live
I'd never turn my back
Never would I deny
The brother I have
Trust is two ply...

Criteria for Poet of the Week Selection:
1. The poet has not been PoW recently.
2. The poet has written a great and original poem.
3. The poet spends some time reading and commenting to encourage and support other members.
4. Mastery of the the language in which the poet writes is also important, although we should make some allowances in terms of spelling/grammar for people using English as a second language.
