Poet of the week

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Another amazing week to celebrate you guys and gals! This week, I would like to bring to attention a long standing poet here at POETS Mr Dilip Vyas +dilip vyas if you are yet to enjoy his work, then I can not urge you enough to pop over to his page, explore, read and interact. Dilip is not only an outstanding poet but he is also a valued member within our community, taking time to read, like and engage with the poetry you guys share! Well done Dilip :)

Smoke
--------------

Poetry gets penned
between
tea cups and cigarettes
sometimes,
you see.
A crisp bitterly sweet smell
may prove
a starting point
of the actual address.
But ,nobody writes a letter now
is the point.
Only waits for one.

From the POETS team, well done everyone, another amazing week of creativity spilling across keyboards, through screens and out into the big wide wilderness of life

Criteria for Poet of the Week Selection:

1. The poet has not been poet of the week recently.

2. The poet has written a great and original poem.

3. The poet spends some time reading and commenting to encourage and support other members.

4. Mastery of the the language in which the poet writes is also important, although we should make some allowances in terms of spelling/grammar for people using English as a second language.

A huge welcome to all our new members this week, from the POETS team
