Love Prevails and flowers will blossom
If only a skylight with waters amiss
a flower in wait .....
Sunshine & rain wash away the wait
and BLOOM there you have it
a flower on God's plate!!

I love this section of this post, it is a great opportunity for me/us to highlight those people who have caught our eye over the week. This week, I want to mention those poets who inspire us consistently, who bless our poetic minds time after time. So much talent, so much soul, so much spirit in their writing, in their support to their peers, in their encouragement of others...
Our first special mention is the brilliantly talented +John Duffy his poetry has amazing depth and John is continuously taking his art forward in diverse and new projects, well done John!
+Parrot Wingate Divi is a superb poet, her work continues to go from strength to strength and she always has a high level of presence within the community and among her peers, well done Divi.
+Tanu Manhas produces amazing poetry and has a fabulous presence within the community, well done Tanu :)
+Marko Brekalo oooh Marko has been treating us with some great, fresh and diverse poetry, we look forward to reading more of his work and getting to know him a little better, well done Marko.

Our Jasmine has been working hard at sharing the famous poet birthday posts and really inviting us to explore new poets, well done Jasmine! +Jasmine and a huge thank you to +Kenneth Wisseman Kenneth has been sharing some amazing famous piece, again giving our members a diverse look at poetry through the ages. Also this week we have seen some great shares from the lovely +Small Things and our wonderful gal +Miss Poet Miki thank you guys and gals :)
This week the very talented Mr +Zane Austin has published his first poetry book, do take a moment guys t click through to his profile and check out him and his work! Well done Zane
In our original art/ music and photography category this week we have seen some awesome art from the lovely +Toni TW and some great pictures and poetry from the brilliantly talented Mr +Edward Means as well as the brilliantly talented Mr +John Duffy. Well done guys and gals.
Oue collaborations category has had a busy busy week with some skillful writes from the very talented +Loc Thiese +Robin J and +Diane Hughes as well as +Skylark Hatee using images provided by +Emily Nelson and +CB Fall and co :) and the brilliantly talented +Cherry A and +Cima Tempestosa well done guys and gals
Our spoken word category this past week has been booming with some great talents, well done +JAHMARthePOET +Jennifer Salinas +Skylark Hatee +Mac Vogt +Ulf Wolf and +Epic Epic well done guys and gals

Criteria for Poet of the Week Selection:
1. The poet has written a great and original poem.
2. The poet spends some time reading and commenting to encourage and support other members.
3. Mastery of the the language in which the poet writes is also important, although we should make some allowances in terms of spelling/grammar for people using English as a second language.
