The Mute Earth

Through the thickets of haunting spirits
In the netherworld of being
my forest, dark; alone I creep

'Neath the creaking trees
where the sod, meets the soul
And the earth,
The earth speaks in mute ambers

It was along the shore of darkness
Like a star in the night
She was that, of a rainbow
Glistening, in his dark, dark clouds...
