This is the last poem Michael wrote in POETS.

Michael will always be remembered as a great poet, and friend, who always had kind words for everyone.

May he rest in peace, and his poetry live on forever.

So Far Away From You

The distance bites my heart like a wild thing at bay,
Languish my love half a world away.
In the lonely hours the wanting bites my soul,
Dawn finds me drained somewhat less than whole.
Sunrise , the beacon to another land,
My old world woman needs her new world man.
Heart hold fast, Soul make due,
The solitary heart shall soon be two.
To touch, to feel, to drown in loves sweet appeal,
Simply the only heart i want to feel.
Until then I will just make due,
I'm coming home to be with you.
