The Noise by +Ashley Samba * Paperback – October 1 2016
https://www.amazon.com/Noise-Mr-Ashley-Samba/dp/1539189937
"This book is a collection of reflections, lyrics and poems that represent the chatter, background sounds and ‘The Noise’ that occur inside my head on a daily basis. I’ve been in places that I didn’t want to be. Places that made me feel so low. Places where I’ve questioned myself and my surroundings, so much so, so repetitively, so obsessively, that I’ve found it almost impossible to live inside my own mind and therefore wanted a way out. In writing, even though much of my work is emotive and at times depressing, I have found pleasure. It is a catharsis that has allowed me to banish some of my demons and channel my anger, sorrow and anguish in a positive way. If you’re reading this, and can relate to anything that I have said here, then I hope you understand that you’re not alone and that bad times will pass and that your situation can change, and that you can decide to be a better version of yourself whenever you want to, regardless of your past of your fears. This book is a ‘face your fear’ type exercise for me. There have been countless times in my life where I have hidden and not done whatever it was that I wanted to do, due to the fear of what other people may say or what they may think. So in releasing this book I’m saying ‘forget it!’. I do this because I enjoy it, and if people are critical and or laugh at me for doing this, then that is simply none of my business! Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read my book! Yours, Ashley Samba"
